This year the Amsterdam Symphonic Band will be playing in the Noorderpark again, this time with a world-class concert!
The international character of the orchestra members will be transformed into world music with
beautiful Japanese, Arabic, French, Spanish and Dutch influences. There will also be special Uzbek
traditional music on Duduk, performed by Igor Iofe on the quarter-tone trumpet. Amsterdam music
teacher Burak Dolutas also provides accompaniment with the Saz, on which he will also perform a
solo piece. The accordion will be used to further enhance the French atmosphere at café-restaurant
Pompet.
